Unique to OUTDECO are our sustainable 97% wood-fiber boards with a wax bonding agent, free of synthetic glues, something unprecedented in this kind of fiberboard composite material.
The natural differences in the harvested timber give each OUTDECO panel a unique texture and color. Our distinctive designs are precision cut with a router, so it is not uncommon to notice slight router marks in the cut patterns.

With OUTDECO, you have choices — four different privacy levels designed to fit your vision for your space and stay within code. That kind of flexibility is a real comfort when you want a functional space that combines pleasing, adaptive design with suitable privacy.
Why Different Privacy Levels?
OUTDECO’s privacy options offer engineered levels of screening for personal preference – from blocking-out the neighbors to reducing visibility to things you don’t want to see, or from camouflaging trash bins and pool equipment to limiting pet visibility.
Screening Compliance
The levels also offer a clear designation for compliance to specific building codes and local planning or HOA regulations.
For many projects, a privacy rating is a compliance requirement for things like balustrades or front boundary fences. Under many local codes, boundary/easement fences can be extended beyond the nominal solid height with an extension having 80% maximum screening.
Regulations can be complex and vary from region to region, so we recommend you do your homework on codes for a DIY project or work closely with your building professional to get it right the first time.
Pool Fences
Our high-privacy designs have narrow slot details making them possible options to cover a compliant, non-climbable barrier structure or pool fence. See specific details on our individual panel patterns and consult relevant authorities, codes, or a building professional.

4 Privacy Ratings
60% Light
Light, open designs are designed less for privacy, more for partial visual partitioning and to create playful effects of light and shadow within an outdoor/ indoor space.
80% Moderate / Compliant
With a moderate to high level of privacy, these designs offer the most versatile and desired balance of privacy and ‘openness’ for many applications. The 80% privacy ratio is directly relevant to many building and boundary applications that require specific compliance. See “Screening Compliance” below.
90% High Privacy
A privacy level that compares to traditional decking timber slat screens or louvered features. The slots are of minimal width, so that at an indirect angle you cannot see through, and at a direct angle, you can only see tiny slithers of light through the panel. Great for private entrances or high privacy fences. Also great for cladding and boxing features. Easy to Install
OUTDECO Decorative Modular Panels hardwood board performs similarly to decking timber and can be trimmed and fabricated as per lumber. The substrate of all OUTDECO panels is specifically engineered for outdoor vertical cladding and is easily intalled.
